Taking Control of your Digital Photos… FOREVER!

Like all our treasured possessions, our photos hold a special place in our hearts and minds. It is these memories that give us the most joy telling the stories of our lives.  We take pictures so that we can enjoy them and share them with our friends and family.

There was a time, when it was a lot easier to manage our photos. We used a camera and chose film with a certain number of photos per roll. We took the film to be developed and if we were very organized we put them in an album. If not, they were at least contained in the envelopes they came in, and could easily be found by the dates on the envelopes. You probably still have many print photos that are in bins and boxes somewhere in your house that are yours and/or have been passed down to you. Later, we can talk about getting them digitized, but for now, we will concentrate on digital photos.

Many people use digital cameras, but most photos are now taken with our mobile phones. We can take unlimited photos of the same thing. We don’t just take one picture, but a few, just to make sure we have at least one good one. According to the Association of Personal Photo Organizers, we took an estimated 1.2 trillion photos in 2018.

How many photos did you take? How many can you access easily?  Do you know even where your photos are?  When scrolling through thousands of your photos to show someone, does it take forever to find the one you want to share?

If you answered, “I don’t know” to any of these questions, you’re not alone. To learn more about FOREVER Photos you can check it out here https://forever.com/ambassador/kathy-schlegeland if you like it, you can try it out with a FREE account.
